Jane Longendyck is Managing Director of Operational Risk and Control at Pershing LLC, a subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. Jane joined Pershing in 1983 and has held a number of management positions in Financial Services, Customer Processing & Services, and Corporate Services. In 2001, Jane became Pershing’s Quality Assurance/Operational Risk Officer, and the scope of her role expanded again in 2004 to include business continuity and incident management. She developed and implemented the business strategy for Pershing’s Global Operational Risk Management efforts and pioneered the practice of Level II SAS 70 audits of the firm’s operating controls.
